We have worked hard to ensure that our trips incorporate COVID-related safety precautions based on the World Health Organization and U.S. Centers of Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. We continuously monitor updates and adjust our policies accordingly. Here’s a brief overview of our pre- and during trip safety protocols.

PRE-TRIP:

• All travelers will receive a health questionnaire to fill out right before the trip to ensure that all participants are healthy before departure.

DURING THE TRIP:

• The use of face masks, especially when in crowded or enclosed spaces and when traveling by car is strongly encouraged. In some destinations, like Colombia, face masks are mandatory by law.
• We’ll travel by private vehicle as much as possible, maintaining social distancing practices and safety protocols while on board including the required use of a mask and hand sanitizer. At the start and end of each tour, the vehicle will be deep cleaned and sanitized.
• Our guide will have hand sanitizer on hand at all times and it will be readily available at all hotels and restaurants on the itinerary, but we do encourage you to pack your own as well. There will be daily temperature checks each morning before the day’s first activity.
• All visits to restaurants and sites will be coordinated for off-peak hours.
• We’ll do our very best to accommodate any single room upgrade requests if available at the property.
